This Privacy Policy describes how Mythos Pet Foods, Inc. (“Mythos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company behind Sphinx, handles personal information in connection with this website, its waitlist, and inquiries sent to us. It does not cover a separate store, crowdfunding platform, connected feeder, or companion app, which may have their own notices.

Information you choose to provide

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if included, the contents of your message, and any attachments or other information you provide. An inquiry may include your organization, partnership interests, or information needed to help with an existing order. Please do not send payment card details, passwords, or other sensitive information.

Contact links open your email application. We receive your message only when you choose to send it through your email provider. The contact links do not submit a website inquiry form. The separate waitlist form saves your signup as described below.

Waitlist and email updates

If you join the waitlist here, we collect your email address, the time of signup, your assigned signup position, and a record of your request to receive launch updates. We use this information to maintain the waitlist, avoid duplicate signups through this form, and communicate about Sphinx. The starting total of 46,000 represents our existing audience; new signups receive positions after that group. Historical signup records are managed separately and are not looked up by this form.

We store new signups in a database provided through our website hosting service. The public counter shows a total of accepted signups, never a list of email addresses. Mailbox ownership is not automatically verified by this form. A private receipt cookie lets this browser display your saved position on a later visit. It expires after one year and is not an advertising cookie. Entering an email alone does not reveal an existing member’s position in a different browser.

To limit abusive submissions, we briefly retain hashed network and email identifiers with request counts; this signup feature does not store your raw IP address in its waitlist database. These rate-limit records expire after 20 minutes and are removed during subsequent signup activity. Hosting services may maintain separate security logs.

You can ask to leave the waitlist or request deletion by emailing meow@sphinx.pet. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe option. Signing up is optional and does not require a purchase.

Technical information and service providers

When you visit, hosting and delivery services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and request times to deliver and secure the site. This version is hosted using OpenAI Sites. Where access requires an OpenAI account, OpenAI handles account authentication under its own Privacy Policy.

The website serves its font files directly from the same hosting service as the site. Email providers process messages you choose to send.

How information is used

Information associated with this website and its inquiries is used to respond to questions, provide requested product support, discuss potential business relationships, maintain the website, protect against misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Sending an inquiry does not enroll you in a website marketing subscription.

When information is shared

Information may be handled by providers that support hosting, security, email, and communications, and by personnel or advisers who need it to address your inquiry. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and safety. The website does not include advertising pixels, an advertising data-sharing integration, or a feature that sells submitted information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Sphinx page sets the functional receipt cookie described above after a successful waitlist signup. It does not set cookies or use browser storage for advertising or cross-site analytics. The hosting or sign-in service may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication and site operation. Those services have their own cookie notices and controls.

You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies required by the hosting or sign-in service may affect access. The Sphinx page code does not track visitors across websites and does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because it has no advertising or cross-site tracking features to disable. This describes the Sphinx page code, not independent practices of hosting or other third-party services.

Retention and security

Waitlist contact details are retained while needed to manage your signup and requested communications, or until you ask us to remove them, subject to applicable legal obligations. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an opt-out. Signup receipts are stored as hashes in the database.

Inquiry records may remain in business email systems while needed to address the inquiry, maintain related business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Retention depends on the nature and purpose of the communication; this website does not impose an automatic email deletion schedule. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can choose not to provide information. You may contact meow@sphinx.pet to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your inquiry or signup, or to ask about its use. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local privacy authority. Requests are subject to applicable law, identity verification where appropriate, and legal retention requirements. Please provide only the information needed to identify your request.

Children and international access

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live; their applicable privacy notices describe their processing arrangements.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the website or its practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be identified on this page, with additional notice where required by law.
