Does the feeder work well with all types of cat food?
Sphinx only works with wet cat food, ensuring smooth dispensing and portion control. It's designed to handle various formats of wet food, but pates, smooth textures, chunks and gravy and most high-moisture blends portion out most accurately.
What wet food should I avoid using with Sphinx?
Super broth heavy wet foods are not ideal for Sphinx as they do not portion out consistently. Shreds (in particular dry shreds with low fat content) don't work well with our existing reusable cartridges. We may create a shred-specific reusable cartridge in the future.
